Instructions

  1. Chill the coupe.
  2. Add the simple syrup, egg white, lemon juice, cognac, grenadine and Irish whiskey to a shaker, fill with ice and shake.
  3. Strain the drink back out of the shaker into the empty tin, discarding the ice.
  4. Shake again without ice to whip up the egg white.
  5. Fine strain into the chilled coupe.
  6. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
