Stir Gin, Genever, Sloe Gin, BéNéDictine with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.

At Our Fathers, I created a twist on the Vieux Carré using dry gin, sloe gin, and Genever, drawing inspiration from Martin Cate’s The Modern Prometheus. Instead of sweet vermouth, I opted for sloe gin. To name it, I was reminded of the old cheer "Hip hip hooray!" and thus dubbed it the Gin Gin Carré!

Instructions

Mix over ice, then pour through a strainer into a glass containing one big ice cube. Finish by twisting an orange peel over the drink as a garnish.
