Instructions

Prepare a sugar wash if not done yet. Slice and peel the banana. Freeze the slices coated in fresh lime juice to stop browning, or use them straight from the fridge. Extract lime juice. Crush ice manually with an ice crusher or blend it using your drink blender. Pour rum, lime juice, and sugar wash into the blender. Include the frozen banana pieces and crushed ice. Mix in Vichy water slowly if necessary for a smoother consistency. Blend for around 30 seconds until smooth and slushy. Taste and add more sugar wash to sweeten as needed based on banana ripeness. Pour carefully into glasses using a spoon to prevent overflow. Garnish with half a lime wheel and cocktail cherries, or any preferred garnish.
