Shake Aperol, Lime Juice, Gin, Lime Juice with ice. Strain into a coupe.
I came up with the Frosun before I knew Todd Maul at Clio in Boston had a similar idea. I shared it during Mixoloseum’s Thursday Drink Night on June 9, 2011.

- Freeze Aperol and half an ounce of lime juice beforehand.
- Combine gin with a quarter ounce of lime juice in a shaker.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a lowball glass.
- Add tonic water.
- Gently stir.
- Include an ice cube.
- Serve with either a straw or spoon for the drinker to break up the ice.
