Ingredients: 23 ml Peychaud's Bitters; 23 ml Maraschino Liqueur; 1 twst Orange Peel; 23 ml Gin; 23 ml Sweet Vermouth

Equal parts gin, maraschino liqueur, sweet vermouth and Peychaud's bitters, stirred over ice in a rocks glass. Herbal and bittersweet, with cherry notes from the maraschino and a twist of orange peel on top. Created by Ryan Lotz in 2009.

Ryan Lotz created the Fritz at Lineage in Brookline, Massachusetts in 2009 as a tribute to Fritz Bultman, an abstract expressionist painter from New Orleans. It shares its purpose with The Gerty, which also honors the painter's legacy.
