Stir Cognac, White Port, Maraschino Liqueur, Orange Bitters with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.

In Newman’s 1900 publication of American Bar, Frank’s Cocktail was first detailed with grenadine as its sweetener. However, four years later in 1904, the recipe got an update, swapping out grenadine for Maraschino liqueur.
