Instructions

  1. Chill a coupe glass first.
  2. Dry shake all ingredients except for the wine float.
  3. Then wet shake and strain into the chilled coupe.
  4. Wait for the foam to settle and the drink to clear.
  5. Use a bar spoon to gently dip the head of it near the edge of the glass just below the foam layer.
  6. Slowly pour the red wine float down beneath the foam using the spiral part of the spoon.
  7. Once you see a red layer form between the drink and the foam, proceed to the next step.
  8. Carefully remove the bar spoon, wipe its head with a towel, and use the curved side to smooth over the foam, hiding where you poured in the wine.
