- Chill a coupe glass first.
- Dry shake all ingredients except for the wine float.
- Then wet shake and strain into the chilled coupe.
- Wait for the foam to settle and the drink to clear.
- Use a bar spoon to gently dip the head of it near the edge of the glass just below the foam layer.
- Slowly pour the red wine float down beneath the foam using the spiral part of the spoon.
- Once you see a red layer form between the drink and the foam, proceed to the next step.
- Carefully remove the bar spoon, wipe its head with a towel, and use the curved side to smooth over the foam, hiding where you poured in the wine.
