- Carefully float a little high-proof rum on top so it stays as a separate layer over the amaretto.
- Fill a pint glass halfway with beer.
- Light the rum in the shot glass with a long lighter.
- Lower the burning shot carefully into the beer, taking care as it sinks.
- Drink it as soon as the flame has gone out.
