After reading about the Ramona cocktail, I thought to myself, "Why use vodka with apple cider when Applejack is available?" A bit of experimentation later, and I decided to give my creation a more culinary twist.

Instructions

  1. Crush the sage leaves together with the lemon juice, apple cider, and demerara syrup in a mixing glass.
  2. Next, incorporate the applejack and crème de cacao.
  3. Pack this mixture with ice cubes, seal the container tightly, and agitate vigorously.
  4. After shaking, pour the contents through a strainer into an already chilled old fashioned glass.
