Antonio Josa included the Exposicion in his 1933 book "Cocktelera Universal." The original recipe called for equal parts of gin and St. Raphael, with half portions each of peach brandy and crème de cassis, creating a rich cocktail typical of that era. I adjusted the proportions to reduce richness by increasing the gin and lowering the others. By 1947, Pedro Chicote's "Cocktails Mundiales" had transformed the Exposicion into a mix of gin, Grand Marnier, and cherry brandy.
