Stir Gin, Lillet Blanc, Dry Vermouth, Herbal Liqueur, Jeppson'S Malort (Other MalöRts Will Work Too) Jeppson'S Malort (Other MalöRts Will Work Too) with ice. Strain into a coupe.

I pondered how a Martini variation with malört as an ingredient might taste and look. Would it maintain elegance while also being delicious? Inspired by the Poet's Dream, I replaced the liqueurs and opted for Cocchi Americano mixed with blanc vermouth to add some extra sweetness. Naming this drink felt right paying homage to Exit, a punk club in Chicago where I once spent an evening years ago.
