Instructions

Warm up a glass by filling it with hot water for about a minute and then discard the water. Put one tablespoon of brown sugar into the prepared glass. Mix in 8 ounces of hot coffee until the sugar is completely dissolved. Pour 1.5 ounces of gin into the mixture. Slowly pour 2 ounces of heavy cream over the back of a spoon to make it float on top of the coffee. Sprinkle nutmeg or add a cinnamon stick as a garnish if desired.
