Stir Puerto Rican Rum, Lillet Blanc, Byrrh, Campari with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.

El Momento Perfecto is the cocktail I submitted for the Bacardi Legacy competition in 2012. Since then, it has appeared in several publications including Imbibe, The Floating Rum Shack, Culture Bar, The Reading Post, and True Originals. It’s also set to be included in Gaz Regan's collection of the best new cocktails from that year.

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients by stirring them with cubed ice.
  2. Strain this mixture through a julep strainer and pour it into an old fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.
  3. Finish with a lemon twist as garnish.
