Instructions

  1. Chill a rocks glass.
  2. Add the bourbon, Cynar, simple syrup, orange bitters and Angostura bitters to a mixing glass.
  3. Fill with ice and stir gently until well chilled.
  4. Strain through a fine strainer into the chilled glass, over a single large ice cube if you like.
  5. Twist the lemon zest over the drink to release its oils, run it around the rim and drop it in.
