Dry Martini
IBA0
A bone-dry, spirit-forward classic: juniper-led gin softened by a little dry vermouth, with a lemon zest for brightness. Cold, clean and crisp.
Franklin D. Roosevelt mixed his own martinis for guests in the White House, usually three or four parts gin to one of dry vermouth. Winston Churchill's famous habit of only glancing at the vermouth bottle is, as far as anyone can show, a legend. Read about the White House drinks
