Stir Cognac VSOP, Simple Syrup, Angostura Bitters, Dry Sherry with ice. Strain into a coupe.

A couple of weeks back, I picked up a bottle of Cognac and experimented with various recipes, sharing my creations on Kindred. My goal was to highlight the distinct taste of Cognac while using leftover wine and champagne.

Instructions

Stir vigorously with plenty of ice until thick and syrupy. Pour into a coupe and garnish with three cherries on a pick. Alternatively, after stirring, chill in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
