Ingredients: 60 ml Rye Whiskey; 1 lf Mint; 15 ml Lemon Juice; 15 ml Dry Vermouth; 15 ml Crème de Cacao

A shaken rye cocktail by Ted Haigh, with dry vermouth and lemon juice for dryness and tartness. Crème de cacao adds a little chocolate sweetness, and mint gives a fresh finish.

The name Delmarva is a contraction of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, the region that Ted "Dr. Cocktail" Haigh comes from. The drink appears in Gary Regan's The Joy of Mixology and is based on a mixture Haigh devised.
