Gin shaken with lemon juice, rich demerara syrup and rhubarb liqueur. Tart and lightly sweet, with the sharp fruitiness of rhubarb over a dry gin base.
Chris Meyer of Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago created Daywire in 2020, during quarantine. The drink grew out of a wish to try an unopened bottle of Giffard Rhubarbe.
