Fernet Branca and allspice dram, lengthened with root beer and sharpened by Angostura. Herbal, bitter and warmly spiced, shaken and served in a coupe. From 2011.

Dark Phoenix grew out of an idea from Chuck (@bitspitter) and Phaedra (@sensestorm), which was then developed further for Thursday Drink Night: Sparkling. The drink was later printed in issue 20 of Mutineer Magazine, November/December 2011.
