Dark rum with lime juice, triple sec and ginger liqueur, finished with orange bitters and a lemon twist. Tart, with clear ginger and orange notes. Created by Dan Chadwick in 2009.

Dan Chadwick created the Dark and Orangey in 2009. The original version combined Cointreau, ginger liqueur, lemon juice and orange bitters, with Cointreau as the largest part, and the drink has since been reworked into a sharper take that leans more on ginger.
