Shake AñEjo Rum, Sweet Vermouth, Lime Juice, BéNéDictine with ice. Strain into a coupe.

While contemplating the Manhattan-inspired Creole cocktail, I considered turning it into a Daiquiri by replacing whiskey with rum and incorporating lime juice. Drawing from the classic Cuban Floridita Daiquiri recipe that includes sweet vermouth and two sweeteners, I thought this would serve as an excellent base to tweak. The initial taste was slightly bitter, which I remedied by adding a dash of salt.
