Corpse Reviver #4

🥃
0

Shake Brandy, Fernet Branca, White CrèMe De Menthe with ice. Strain into a coupe.

The Corpse Reviver #4 emerged at London's Savoy Hotel American Bar in the late 1940s or early 1950s. Salvatore Calabrese credits Johnny Johnson with inventing this Fernet-Branca infused variation around 1948, initially calling it a Corpse Reviver #3. However, some sources attribute its creation to Joe Gilmore in 1954. Despite the confusion over its exact origin and number designation, this cocktail remains a popular hangover cure.
