Corpse Reviver #4

The Corpse Reviver #4 came about at the American Bar of London's Savoy Hotel in the late 1940s or early 1950s. Salvatore Calabrese credits Johnny Johnson with creating this Fernet-Branca variation around 1948, first under the name Corpse Reviver #3, while other sources name Joe Gilmore and the year 1954. The exact origin and number are disputed, but the drink is still a popular hangover remedy.
