Gin, triple sec, lemon juice and Lillet Blanc in equal parts, shaken in an absinthe-rinsed glass for a tart, citrusy drink with a faint aniseed note. Harry Craddock, 1930.

The Corpse Reviver #2 is credited to Harry Craddock of The Savoy and dates from 1930. The Savoy's version adds a dash of absinthe to the drink, where today's bartenders usually rinse the glass with it instead.
