A stirred, spirit-forward drink where apple brandy leads, with sweet vermouth for body and a little maraschino liqueur adding cherry-almond sweetness. A lemon twist brightens it; created by Christopher Bevins at a home bar in 2011.

Christopher Bevins created the Constable Hook in 2011 using Laird's apple brandy. The drink was inspired by a place across the river from Brooklyn and is named after Constable Hook, a district in Bayonne, New Jersey.

Instructions

  1. Chill a cocktail glass
  2. Stir the mixture together
