A tall shaken punch of dark and gold rum with pineapple juice, lime juice and ginger beer. Velvet Falernum and Angostura add spice, and a few drops of Pernod add a hint of anise. Created by Donn Beach.

- Combine all ingredients except for the ginger beer and garnishes in a shaker filled with crushed ice and shake well.
- Add the ginger beer to the mixture without shaking, just stir it in.
- Strain this mix directly into a tall glass containing three or four ice cubes.
- Finish by adding a chunk of pineapple and a sprig of mint as garnish.
