Instructions

Boil water in a pot. Quarter and slice lemons into rounds, then place them in a large bowl that can hold at least 3 liters. Chop the rhubarb finely and mix it with sugar before adding to the lemon slices. Stir for one minute and mash if you like. Add cinnamon sticks and pour hot water over the mixture. Allow to cool, cover, and refrigerate overnight or for a day. Strain out the solids when ready to serve. Fill glasses with ice cubes or crushed ice and add tequila, rum, vodka, or skip the spirit for an alcohol-free option. Top off with the rhubarb drink and garnish with mint leaves, straws, or cocktail picks.
