Club Garden

Stir Scotch, Apple Brandy, Ramazzotti, Apricot Brandy with ice. Strain into a coupe.
Inspired by Eric Alperin's Skid Row with its Ramazzotti-apricot pairing, I decided to swap out Genever for Scotch, which works well with Ramazzotti in the Black Scottish Cyclops, and aged apple brandy, known for its compatibility with apricot liqueur. Rather than naming it after a Boston skid row, I chose to honor a notorious underground operation during Prohibition by calling it Club Garden, after a famous speakeasy raided in 1932 near the Boston Garden arena.
