Frederic Yarm created the Clown Car at Drink in Boston in 2022, after seeing Joseph Wheelwright's sculpture "Clown" on a trip to Fruitlands. It pairs Fernet Branca and Campari, a combination known as a Ferrari shot whose car connection gave the drink its name, with honey and passion fruit syrup. The recipe ended up close to the creator's earlier Cornerman.
