The City Bird is a take on the well-known Jungle Bird cocktail and serves as a more approachable, session-friendly option compared to the richer blackstrap variation that Giuseppe Gonzalez introduced in New York City a couple of years later. We featured it on our summer menu in 2011.

- Place the initial four components in a shaker filled with crushed ice.
- Chill a collins glass by adding a horse’s neck decoration along with some cracked ice.
- Vigorously shake and then strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
- Finish off by pouring half an ounce of prosecco on top (club soda can be used as a replacement if needed).
