Instructions

  1. Cinema Highball is a butter-washed, popcorn-infused rum topped with Coca-Cola — a movie-night two-ingredient highball with real buttered-popcorn character.
  2. Build 2 oz (59 ml) popcorn-infused rum in a highball glass with ice.
  3. Top with 4 oz (118 ml) Coca-Cola.
  4. Sub-recipes:
  5. — Popcorn-infused rum — infused + fat-washed spirit
  6. Steep 20 g fresh-popped popcorn in a 750 ml bottle of rum for 1 hour, then strain. Add 1 oz (≈2 tbsp) warm butter, rest at room temperature 24 hours, then freeze 3–4 hours until solids separate. Strain out solids.
