- Chill a cocktail glass.
- Gently muddle four sage leaves in the bottom of a shaker.
- Add the gin, lime juice and cherry syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake until well chilled.
- Strain into the chilled glass and top with club soda.
- Skewer a maraschino cherry and a sage leaf and lay them across the glass as garnish.
