Chanticleer Cocktail

Garnish: Orange zest twist
The Chanticleer Cocktail draws inspiration from a pre-Prohibition recipe that featured orange-flavored gin and egg white. I updated it by swapping out the gin for triple sec and removing the egg. The term "chanticleer" means rooster in French, and at the historic Waldorf-Astoria bar, patrons could opt to have their drink garnished with a "Cock's Comb." --Regan
