Ingredients: 15 ml Simple Syrup; 1 dash Grenadine; 3 dash Angostura Bitters; 3 drops Almond Syrup; 30 ml Puerto Rican Rum; 240 ml Crushed Ice; 1 spg Mint; 15 ml Lime Juice; 45 ml Sarsaparilla Soda (Or Root Beer); 15 ml Velvet Falernum; 6 drops Pernod; 30 ml Jamaican Rum

Jamaican and Puerto Rican rum, lime, velvet falernum and sarsaparilla soda or root beer are blended with crushed ice, then rounded off with grenadine, a little Pernod and mint. Created by Don the Beachcomber in 1937.
