Instructions

  1. Halve the lime lengthways and cut out the pale core from each half.
  2. Cut the halves into wedges, then cut each wedge in two, and drop the pieces in a rocks glass.
  3. Add the sugar and muddle gently, just enough to press out the juice.
  4. Once the sugar has melted into the juice, top the glass up with ice cubes.
  5. Add the vodka and stir to combine.
  6. Serve with a short straw.
