For this season’s "art of the mix" competition, I created the Bonjour Farrokh as a tribute to Freddie Mercury. Featuring bold London gin and Cointreau for a zesty kick, it celebrates his connection to Zanzibar with a vibrant and purposeful twist.

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except Parfait Amore and the orange peel with ice in a shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously to chill thoroughly.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Garnish by adding four dashes of Parfait Amore and an expressed orange peel.
