Rye whiskey with a measure of Scotch, shaken with lime juice and simple syrup. Allspice dram and Angostura give it a warm spice. Created by Frederic Yarm in Boston, 2025.

Frederic Yarm created the Bobcat's Tail in Boston in 2025 after trying a maple-allspice dram at Fireside Chat. The allspice recalled the Lion's Tail and the maple suggested smoke, which led to Islay whisky being added. Wildcats live in syrup-producing regions and bobcats have short tails, so the name was chosen with a touch of irony.
