Instructions

  1. Put the blackberries in the bottom of a mixing tin and muddle them lightly.
  2. Add the bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup and Angostura bitters.
  3. Fill the tin with ice and stir until the drink is well chilled.
  4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Squeeze the orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it in. Finish with blackberries.
