Black Scott

Shake Scotch, Root Liqueur, Grade A Dark Color And Robust Taste Maple Syrup, Blackstrap Bitters (Full Dropper) with ice. Strain into a coupe.

In 2013, I created the Black Scott for Auchentoshan's "The Switch" contest. The drink pays homage to my earlier cocktail, the Black Rye, by highlighting the sweet, woody character of Scotch alongside spicy and complementary sweet flavors.
