Instructions

  1. Chill the glass.
  2. Pour in the pale ale.
  3. Hold a bar spoon, or an upside-down tablespoon, against the inside of the glass just above the beer, with its back facing up.
  4. Pour the stout slowly over the spoon so it spreads gently and floats on top of the pale ale.
