Bison Rut

Stir Bison Grass Vodka, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, Passion Fruit Liqueur (Chinola Passion Fruit Liqueur) with ice. Strain into a rocks glass.

A few years back, I went tent camping with my kids and woke up to a small bison herd wandering into our camp during rut season. Having grown up around cattle, managing the bison and keeping them away from the children without upsetting the amorous bulls was quite an adventure. The trick is to guide the curious females where you want them while staying far from the aggressive males who were busy fighting each other, allowing me to move most of the herd safely around our campsite.
