Bel-ami
0
A short, stirred drink led by dry apricot brandy, with yellow Chartreuse adding herbal sweetness and Suze a bitter gentian edge. Served in a rocks glass; dates from 2020.
The Bel-ami calls for MOF Chartreuse, a version of the liqueur named after the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, French artisans recognized for their skill and taste. It is made by the same monks as regular Chartreuse, but at a lower proof and with input from leading French sommeliers.
