Gin stirred with dry and sweet vermouth, a touch of grenadine and a little Fernet Branca, finished with orange peel; herbal and bittersweet. Created by Frederic Yarm in Boston in 2020.

Frederic Yarm of Boston devised the Atta Girl in 2020 after noticing how well Fernet-Branca and grenadine work together in the Dickensian Villain. That recalled two gin drinks from the Savoy Cocktail Book, the Hanky Panky with its Fernet and the Atta Boy with its grenadine, and the Atta Girl combines the two. The name is a tribute to Ada Coleman, the creator of the Hanky Panky.
