Instructions

  1. Mash the apricot in the bottom of a shaker.
  2. Add the apricot liqueur, mint and bourbon, then shake hard with ice.
  3. Pour through a fine strainer into a rocks glass filled halfway with crushed ice.
  4. Work the ice through the drink with a bar spoon, stirring until it is well mixed.
  5. Add more crushed ice and stir again. Keep going until the glass is full and frost has formed on the outside.
  6. Garnish with a bouquet of mint sprigs and, when apricots are in season, a wedge of fresh apricot.
