Inspired by the Alaska Forest cocktail but aiming for a more subdued version akin to the classic Alaska, I sought to balance the intensity of Douglas fir eau-de-vie and green Chartreuse with a touch of complexity while keeping the pine flavor intact. Recalling my time in Adak, Alaska, and its unique "National Forest," I decided to create a drink that honors those resilient little pines.
