Instructions

  1. Fill an atomiser with the absinthe and set it aside.
  2. Chill a rocks glass.
  3. Stir the bourbon, cognac, Bénédictine, Velvet Falernum and all three bitters with ice for a good while, until the drink is very cold but only lightly diluted.
  4. Mist the chilled glass with the absinthe.
  5. Strain the drink into the glass.
  6. Squeeze a lemon twist over the surface to release its oils, then either discard it or drop it in, to taste.
