Instructions

  1. Chill a rocks glass.
  2. Fill a shaker with ice and add the lemon juice, cognac, Peychaud's bitters, rye whiskey, simple syrup, triple sec and Lillet Blanc.
  3. Shake hard until the shaker is cold.
  4. Pour through a fine strainer into the cold glass.
  5. Garnish with an orange zest twist.
