A stirred Scotch drink built like an old-fashioned, with a sugar cube and Peychaud's bitters, an absinthe rinse for anise aroma and a small measure of Fernet Branca for bitter, minty depth. Created by jkim07 in 2014.
The 1815 Sutherland Highlanders is named for the Scottish soldiers who fought at the Battle of New Orleans, and it is built as a nod to the classic Sazerac.
